Paul, Jillian and the entire team at Carmana were great to work with. They were all professional and responsive - the work was well coordinated and impeccable. The renovation of our bathroom - all existing was removed and replaced. All contractors (ie glass and counter measuring and installing, etc.) were on time, respectful and a pleasure to work with. All questions were answered quickly - can't say enough good things.

complete kitchen and bathroom renovations as well as custom fireplace/tv wall. I couldn’t be happier with the finished results. Paul and his team were great to work with, from design to completion. They were friendly, punctual, professional, and the finished rooms exceeded my expectations. I am looking forward to our next project!

A huge thank you to Carmana for a kitchen reno that could not have gone smoother.We moved to an older home and the kitchen required a total overhaul.Paul and Jillian were able to advise us every step of the way from planning to completion.This included a tear out of all cabinets,installing underheated tile flooring..pot lights in ceiling..converting to gas and not to mention all the electrical and plumbing issues that arise in an older home .We were able to stay safe and comfortable behind our plastic wall with a Zipper door and every days work ended with a good clean up.The work was done quickly..on time and within budget.Paul made valuable suggestions along the way and answered all of our questions with admirable tolerance!We also used Paul and his team to deal with work needed in the dining/living room and again with good results.Jillian's input by being available to shop for tiles etc.with us made a great difference.We relied on her feedback before making many decisions.Both Paul and Jillian are prompt to answer texts and calls.All of the crew who worked here were pleasant and easy to be around.They were proficient and knowledgeable and Paul was here frequently to check on progress.One expects a few bumps along the road of renovation..but we believe that having Paul with his particular combination of professionalism and communication skills has made our journey mainly a stress free one.We highly recommend Carmana and have done so already..we look forward to working with them again.Jim and Alison DitomassiQualicum BeachApril 2022

We hired Carmana to conduct renovations to our 20-year old house, specifically the kitchen and both the ensuite and main bathrooms. Carmana principals Paul and Jillian did all the design work for the main bathroom based on our wants and needs, and they helped select materials and finishes for the whole project, confirming our own ideas and finishing choices, but also steering us gently towards what would look and function best if we were "not quite there yet". The decision-making took a matter of a few short hours. Procurement of a few items and the construction itself were delayed briefly due to the Covid-19 situation, but everything ran substantially to schedule. The project was completed within what we thought was a very reasonable time considering its complexity. The quality of the finished work is outstanding, and we could not be happier with the results! We feel we received excellent value for the money we spent, though the project was not inexpensive. The house looks and feels up-to-date, and it all works beautifully. Importantly, we found Paul and his crews and subcontractors not only technically excellent but also eminently easy to deal with, honest, straightforward, reliable, tidy, and clean. We never had anything to clean up after the crew had finished their day's work. They always showed up on time, when they said they would, and went about their work as quietly as possible. They were also extremely understanding of--and always accommodated--our need for predictability, so that we could run our lives with minimal negative impact from the construction. In summary, we have absolutely no qualms about giving our highest possible recommendation to Carmana for projects of this kind and scope. Congratulations Carmana on a project so very, very well done!

We had Carmana Home Improvements do some renovations to our home in Parksville. The renovations included, among other things, the removal of a tub and the installation of a large walk-in shower. The result is beautiful and the work is top quality.Paul, Jillian and their team were wonderful to work with and a pleasure to have in the house. Great care was taken to protect floors and to clean up as they went along. Jillian's help shopping for tile and fixtures was an added bonus. Paul returned all calls promptly, remembered everything we said we wanted and made sure we got it. His cheerful and positive personality made the whole experience pleasant.Carmana Home Improvements is proof that renovations can be hassle-free, painless and even fun!

This is the second home that we have had Carmana work on. Paul and his team do an excellent job. We trust Paul to give us a fair quote and he always gives us options before and during the process. We had two bathrooms completely redone with heated floors, toilets/bidet, showers and a separate bathtub. We had all new lighting installed on our main floor and office. Tiling done around the fireplace too. The tile setter like the rest of the trades Paul works with did an awesome job. There was a lot of fussy electric work and plumbing on this project. Pauls team take time to cover the floors and put in plastic/cover/zip doors to keep your home as protected as possible. They also clean up at the end of each work day. We highly recommend Carmana.

Paul and his team completed our project on time and efficiently, at a reasonable rate. They were very helpful and considerate, taking care to cover floors and attend to everything we requested. My husband and I purchased a new home which required some renovations, our main bath and on suite completely redone new flooring throughout and complete interior painting. We contracted Camana Home Improvements and we are so happy we used them. The service and quality of work was excellent. We are so happy with everything that was done; the bath rooms and hardwood floors are stunning and the paint job makes our house look like new. They were also always clean and professional. We highly recommend Paul and his team.

Remodel Bathroom and Do Kitchen Backsplash

Paul came into our home and completely did over our main bathroom. He took out the bathtub and put in a beautiful all tile walk in shower and tiled bathroom walls. He did the complete make over in a timely matter. With excellent workmanship. Cleaning up the premises at the end of each day so as not to track up the house. Also put stick to the floor sheets from the outside door to the bathroom, to protect the floors in the house. The kitchen backsplash completely updated our kitchen. The workmanship was excellent.

Paul came at first to look and see what we wanted done, gave me a quote in a matter of a day or two. When the job was completed he stuck to his quote, except for a invoice from a plumber, which we were expecting.

I would highly recommend Paul for anyone looking for a good workmen who can do anything needing to be done. I will not hesitate to contact Paul for any other work we may need done in the future.

Exterior & Interior Painting; Removing Existing & Installing New Kitchen (Glass) Tiles; Cement Roof Tiles Power Washed; Gutters Cleaned

Cement Roof Tiles Power Washed – cleaned up residue (moss) from roof off pathway once done; cleaned roof flashing.

Exterior – painted exterior of house including all trim, siding, garage doors.

Interior – 3 bedrooms, living & dining room, 2 bathrooms, laundry room – care taken to ensure furniture or floors were not marked with paint splatters.

Kitchen tile – removal of existing tile and repair to dry wall as needed. New glass tile expertly installed. Noticed that grout was missed in a couple of places once job was done – fixed immediately.

Installed new range hood.

It was a pleasure dealing with Paul and his crew. All were courteous and paid attention to detail. They were always on time and took care cleaning up once a job was completed. I would not hesitate recommending Carmana Home Improvements!

Carmana has helped with many projects for us both commercially and personal. We had them renovate a commercial space to fit our new business and at our home they have helped with many small and large adjustments to our buildings. All the personnel have been courteous, clean and efficient. The projects have been carport to garage conversion, out building shed construction, animal shelter construction, refit of out buildings, skirt mobile home, refit windows in main home and replaced damaged siding. Carmana’s snow clearing division has a contract to keep our commercial site clear in the winter.
